Aurora says:
It was in the mid seventies. The school was small and familiar, teachers and students mixed together and we had great fun.
I am glad it has improved so much, but as the song goes "I remember Dublin School in the rare old times."
Great memories.
Aurora O'Connor, Madrid, Spain.
(Thanks Aurora - hope to see you again soon.)

Don't let distance stop you learning English - Learn live online with eDSE
Do you want to learn English at the Dublin School of English but you don’t have the time or money to come to Dublin? Did you want to continue your lessons after you left Ireland? Do you want to prepare your English before going to an English-speaking country? Well, we have the answer - now you can study with us while staying in your own country over the Internet with eDSE.
eDSE is a distance learning or e-learning course. It is virtual classroom on the Internet with a live teacher. In this classroom we offer General English, Business English and Exam Preparation courses.
All you need is a computer with a headset (or speakers and a microphone) and an Internet connection – we take care of the rest. If you are already set up to use Skype, you are ready for eDSE.
We will provide the computer programme, textbook, curriculum and your special timetable. We will give you your personal teacher, who will monitor and interact live with you in class. You will be able to see and hear your teacher at all times, as they will see and hear you. You will both see what the other person writes in the digital classroom on your computer monitor. This makes it no different from a normal classroom situation.
Single lessons are also available for business or study presentations, simulated job interviews, C.V.'s and letters of application, advertising and marketing material, exam speaking test practice and any other situations where interactive use of English is needed. A teacher will then correct your work and give constructive feedback on how to improve it.
So don’t let a little thing like distance get in the way of learning English. Learn English abroad while you’re at home. It’s the future and it waits for no one. Log on to eDSE and learn live on line. Send a request form from our contact us page and we'll send you more details about packages and prices, then you can have a free demonstration to see how simple it is to use eDSE.
