It was in the mid seventies. The school was small and familiar, teachers and students mixed together and we had great fun.
I am glad it has improved so much, but as the song goes "I remember Dublin School in the rare old times."
Great memories.

A Student Review
My experience in Ireland by Angela Ghezzi (Italy)
I decided to come to Dublin because I wanted to study English.I think that it’s the most important language in the world.
My cousin was here last year and he has enjoyed a lot here.He told me to try this new experience,so I did it!
Dublin is a very nice city, it’s worth seeing. There are many places and the buildings to visit and the people are very friendly. The weather is not so good because the sun is not very common, but this is Ireland !
I went to The Dublin School of English to study and I liked it. The teachers I had were very good, they teached me a lot of new things and corrected my mistakes. Thanks to them I’ve improved my English. The school organised many trips to visit the city and on Saturday there were all-day trips to visit places of Ireland. The school gave me the opportunity to meet a lot of students from all over the world.
I got to know other cultures and other languages and I think it is an important experience of our life. I liked the school also for the people that work there because they were always very kind and very patients with the students.
I want to thank the school for my host family.I think they’ve chosen the best for me.
In this family I met Orla and her boyfriend John and her children Nicole and James. They helped me a lot and I passed a great time with them. They were always very kind and with them I felt part of the family.I’m very happy to have been in this host family!
My experience in Ireland has been very useful for my life. I hope I can repeat a trip to Ireland one day, because I’m sure I’ll miss this beautiful green land.
