Aurora says:

It was in the mid seventies. The school was small and familiar, teachers and students mixed together and we had great fun.
I am glad it has improved so much, but as the song goes "I remember Dublin School in the rare old times."
Great memories.

Aurora O'Connor, Madrid, Spain.

(Thanks Aurora - hope to see you again soon.)

Botticelli's

By francis on 2009-04-07 16:04 (Back)

Botticelli's Tempel BarGood Italian pizza, pasta and ice cream in Temple Bar in Dublin... especially good value at lunchtime.

Botticelli's is one of the longer established restaurants in Temple Bar and is a favourite of DSE staff.

Botticelli's doesn't pretend to be something it isn't - it is cosy, friendly and has (in my opinion) the best pizza and coffee in Dublin.

Evenings are busy in Temple Bar, especially on a weekend, so be prepared for a wait (perhaps in the pub with a pint of Guinness?), but at lunchtime this place really shines:

  • Starter of bruschette, garlic bread, salad or minestrone soup...
  • Main course of pizza or pasta…
  • followed by a lovely double espresso…

…all for less than EUR 10?

Fantastic!
