It was in the mid seventies. The school was small and familiar, teachers and students mixed together and we had great fun.
I am glad it has improved so much, but as the song goes "I remember Dublin School in the rare old times."
Great memories.

Bar Pintxo
A New Tapas bar in Dublin and it is only 2 minutes walk from DSE reviewed by our DSE Marketing Manager and food lover - Victoria Power
This is a sister restaurant of the Port House and lives up to its very high standard. In fact it is better. Of course it is not as good as the typical tapas you get in Spain but it is the next best thing and its in Ireland. Pintxo is the perfect place if you like the idea of having a few little things to eat instead of a big meal. The menu is quite big but not overwhelming with everything from olives to scallops. There are also good vegetarian options The wine list is also interesting with a great variety of Spanish and Portuguese bottles to choose from.
The restaurant has a lovely interior. You can choose to either sit at the bar for some nibbles, sit in the bright spacious area inside the door with friends or even try the candle lit basement for a more romantic feel that is perfect for a date. The restaurant even has an impressive outdoor area which is perfect for those of us who smoke.
Pintxo is the type of bar and restaurant that you can go to for a glass of wine & a cheese board or for an entire meal. It is also the perfect place to graze and order lots of nibbles when you feel like which are reasonably priced. Funky unisex loos
Unisex loos !
An unusual thing that I liked about this restaurant is the toilets, which are filled with thrones. Be warned because they are unisex so do not get a shock when you walk in. Both males and females are very welcome. There are however no mirrors so its not a great place for those of us who like to top up on a bit of mascara.
All in all Pintxo. is a beautiful Tapas restaurant with delicious food and friendly staff. It has become my weekly treat after work as it is a great way to start off my weekend. See you there!
